Abram’s House is the ideal option for history lovers and those who are visiting Armagh and Ireland for a taste of its rich history. The house itself was modelled and named after a real-life 1890s dwelling, located in the area. The house was lived in by several tenants that worked on an estate nearby.
It is tastefully decorated with beautiful country floral fabrics, vintage books and signed prints from a local artist. The bedroom also includes a vintage Singer sewing machine, Elm Windsor chair, and the floorboards have been salvaged from a whisky distillery in Scotland.
This glamping accommodation is available all year round.
Includes:
- Old-style wood burner
- Fridge
- Gas cooker
- Open-plan kitchen and living room
- Antique double, cast iron bed
- Large roll top bath
- Picnic table
- Fire pit/seating outside
- HOT TUB - Available as an optional extra. This is a wood fired, fresh water, private tub. When you arrive, fill it with water. Sufficient logs will be left available for lighting the wood burner (instructions provided). It should be at temperature within two and a half hours (depending on starting temperature).
Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children (on camp beds)
You will need to bring your own bed linen for the children(sleeping bags and pillows), towels and toiletries and some extra logs/firelighters.
It costs from £145 (single night) - £290 (peak season) for a family of four for a two night break and £55 per night thereafter.
